(102,579 posts)I can get a Cheyenne CBS station and I would see the ads constantly a couple of years ago. Now I see them for the Buell Theater in Denver--as though totally "new and anticipated."
Who knew that WY would be a destination site for this US tour...

(9,274 posts)They kind of get a pass over here, because they hate the Chinese Communist Party (hey, who doesn't?), but it's some nutty sci-fi shit mixed with Buddhism and Taoism. Think Asian Scientology.
Oh, and they follow the teachings of a virulent homophobe.

(6,415 posts)When I first saw the commercials I thought it would be interesting to see (but, life gets busy and there are a number of performances we've wanted to see, figured they would be back around eventually). But now, it's like they never go away, so I have no interest in seeing it any time soon. Then they added the tag line "See China before Communism"....and I was like WTF?!
We go to Vegas in three months, trying to decide to see Blue Man Group one more time, or one of the less Cirque de Soleil shows we haven't seen (we've been to O, Mysterye, KA and Zumanity), leaning towards the Michael Jackson show or the Beatles. We're also considering Burlesque, just to do something different....lot of shows vanished after COVID.
