**Lincoln In his final months, Lincoln (Daniel Day-Lewis) takes steps to ensure the end of slavery forever.

NOW, on TCM, powerful.

(M.Moore just powerful on Ayman, begging President Biden to stop providing 'fuel' to netanyahu, and save #### lives.)

Need to watch again, but what I am taking away is....we have always been a divided nation and 2) A righteous argument prevails.

Danial Day Lewis is incredible as President Lincoln. Loved Tommy Lee Jone's moment in this film as well. A lot of great acting in this movie.

I have a hard time respecting him as a professional actor, though. Not because of his acting; he’s brilliant, obviously.

But because of his poor professionalism on occasion. I read once where he was in the middle of a performance as Hamlet when he broke character and walked off the stage, telling the audience he just didn’t have anything left to give.

I’ve never been a big fan of the ‘tortured Method-acting artist’ bit. I think it’s ridiculously self-indulgent. And it’s really unprofessional to quit in the middle of a performance for a paying audience.
