been watching the old black and white flash gordon w buster crabbe first on yt. now on tubi. what fun.

1. My Dad grew up seeing those in the theater.

Cost him a dime to get in, they'd see a newsreel, cartoon, and then the latest chapter of Flash Gordon or Buck Rogers,

I showed my Dad the 1980 Flash Gordon, and he laughed his head off.
"Never had stuff like that when I was a kid!"
But he hated the soundtrack, since he hated rock music.

3. i saw the 1980s flash gordon and laughed my head off. even though i am not

a rocker , i loved the music by queen. and mings costume was very lovely, it weighed 90 lbs and could only be worn a few minutes at a time . my late mom in the depression as a little girl did said same .

2. oh man I loved those...

would rush home from Sunday school to see them. When I was in college, Buster Crabbe came and did a talk, while showing some highlights. The place was packed....and baked haha....what a night!

4. Flash travelled to the planet Mongo

With his fellow crew mates Dale Arden,
Hans Zarkov, and Professor Hensley.
He met Pricess Aura and ran afoul of
Ming The Merciless.
I got a kick out of their exploits when
I saw it on TV in the 1970's.

5. am loving the shows .

heard that the fellow who created star wars wanted to don flash gordon , but the studio didnt give it to him.so he created his own version, star wars . love both shows.
