For those who love movies........

I'm a MAJOR movie enthusiast. You might say watching them is one of my hobbies!

I'm re-watching a film I really enjoyed when it came out, Sliding Doors (1998). I just LOVE the premise (and the worlds "Sliding Doors" are actually referred to in some conversations-in context). It was on one of the cable channels this week so I DVR'd it and just finished watching (I've seen this movie several times).

Gwyenth Paltrow is good in it but the guy that plays her cheating boyfriend is, IMHO, a horrible choice for the character! I know they wrote him to be beyond unlikable but we still need to see something about him that would make her character go for this guy in the first place.....

I'm just venting on a Saturday morning (putting off getting my paperwork together to get my taxes done in a couple of hours).

For those of you who are movie buffs, what are some other casting decisions that you think are really, really bad?

I like Viggo and some of the stuff he has done but IMO he was wrong for this part. He needed a bigger voice and instead, well I will leave it there.

I haven't seen any of the LOTR movies in their entirety but I can see where he may have been miscast.
