The only thing I remember sold as a Dime Bag was pot. That meant $10. A lid was usually $5. Cocaine wasn't my thing, but I tried it once or twice. As I remember $10 might buy 250 mg of coke. Maybe a line so my son says.

I have lived almost my entire adult life under drug testing. Some day when I retire, I am walking into a pot shop on cape cod with about 500 dollars in my pocket and trying this whole thing out. Could be fun.

7. The first pot I bought was sold by the matchbox in 1970.

It was $10., super expensive back then for the small amount. A year or so later, had found better supplies and it was dime bags - $10 for an oz. However, the ounces were full of stems, seeds and shake which had to be sorted out first. In 1970 Imoved to CA and bags there were twice as much or more and still had all the "chaff". By 1989 when I moved out of CA, I wasn't buying oz's anymore, it was halfs and they were $50 and they were (finally) sensamillia, and sold with no stems or shake.

Nowdays I get mine from the medical mj dispensary and they are much, much more that that. I buy 1/8ths for $20-30 on sale generally. Inflataion!!!!
