Looks like Jupiter and Venus are having a party tonight

There, up in the Western sky are two very bright objects, and they aren't Chinese weather balloons. I'm here on the left coast where it's 7 pm. If you're in the Eastern time zone they may have already set. If so, try again tomorrow if your skies are clear. Happy viewing!

I missed your post, and it has been cloudy here for the last several days. Tonight was my first time to see the pair so close. What a show!

So much fun as I’m just an amateur at it but I’m fascinated with all the goings on

for the first time! I was so excited. I did take a picture but I have never learned how to do a night sky and stars, or planets. Crappy picture but I will never forget it. We still have a dark enough sky that they were just magical looking up there!

I posted it in this discussion from last week. A really stunning picture of Jupiter and it's moons.
