One of the best parts was John Mellencamp introducing Allen Grubman’s induction.

Also, Allen Grubman is Jewish by the way…AND a co-founder of the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. We wouldn’t have the hall of fame without this Jewish lawyer.

1. I loved damn near every second of that show, and the Mellencamp induction speech for Grubman

was a gem for sure, along with the accompanying video with Sting, The Boss, Bono and a few others. Grubman's speech was great too.

The entire hall dancing to 'All Night Long' was probably the highlight to me ... along w/Dolly's 'rock and roll song' which was cute as all hell. And Coat of Many Colors made me cry a little. I remember not having the right clothes because my family was relatively poor when I was young and I was teased so much ... brought it all back.

2. I didn't know Eminem's story

Interesting too. And his thanks list was huge and he was almost rapping it and it was alphabetical AND he shouted them all out to highlight that Hip Hop hasn’t been included.
