Do you have a male or female brain? Optical illusions

I couldn’t embed the video or save the picture so here is the article with video included.

Some more optical illusions. I usually have a hard time with them because my eyes rapidly alternate between the two options.
Warning for anyone who has photosensitive epilepsy, but they probably already know this.

After I saw it as ambiguous, I don't seem to be able to see it as approaching or running away.

Odd. I guess I have an alien brain.

My first impression was that the figure was approaching, then quickly thought it might be leaving.

Looked for clues which would help clarify it, but ultimately concluded there wasn't enough information to do so. Unless I missed something, but I didn't want to spend more time on it since it's not like some great mystery of how our universe works.

We have a gender neutral brain.

I like that.

... who would strongly argue it's one way or another, but without valid points.

I might wonder if they're more prone to superstitious thinking, or perhaps they're unwilling to accept uncertainty.

Who else would believe something without evidence?

I find optical illusions interesting. The whole field of sensory perception is interesting but it is confusing for the brain. Guess that’s the whole point.

I am male, hetero, but not macho at all. I see nothing wrong with exploring my feminine side.

Most people are interesting. That would be my main care.

I have to admit a lot of the scripts back then left much to be desired.

The possibilities of science (just like Star Trek) really pulled me in.
