Now that I've gotten older, I watch my every step outside in the weather. While out feeding the birds this afternoon I had to cross a big patch of ice in my driveway that I had to baby-step across, so I went inside and got some salt for that disaster waiting to happen. I remember all the stories from when I was a kid of so many older folks falling a breaking hips and it seemed they usually died as a result.

So, be extra careful with the hard packed snow and ice, and with the risk of COVID still with us.

And, thanks again for all the hard work you're doing for DU and AA.

From a rough day at the salon just about had me in tears. You see, I have a cat who thinks he is my hairdresser. He wants to rub his face on my hair, comb it with his paws, and lick it.

I have to wear a hair net to bed because he will sneak up here in the middle of the night and turn into a slobbering fool.
