I did find "Take a Hint" pretty funny.

Sigh. "Ragtime" is the first Broadway show I ever saw. I wept all the way through it. I was so moved by it all -- the staging, the costumes, the dancing, but most of all the chorus itself. When I heard/saw that chorus perform, I knew I'd missed my calling.

It was a favorite of the grandson when he was little; he'd want to sing it until we were to hoarse to sing.

(4,276 posts)The song was written in tribute to my son and his wife. It's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard...of course, I'm predjudiced but it is pretty awesome. Unfortunately, I just sob and sob everytime I hear it because it brings back all the terror of my son's brain tumor. But he's healthy and happy now...so life is good.

(21,046 posts)Just saw the movie "Tommy" on the Palladia channel. I don't know what it means but it's strange!!
I saw it many years ago at the River Oaks Theater on West Gray in Houston during the first run.
Listening to you, I get the music
Gazing at you, I get the heat
Following you, I climb the mountain
I get excitement at your feet
Right behind you, I see the millions
On you, I see the glory
From you, I get opinion
From you, I get the story
The last scene where he is silhouetted in front of the rising sun, just like his father was silhouetted in front of the sun, at the beginning of the movie, is very powerful.
