(8,492 posts)I'm not sure if a threat to his common decency would apply under SYG. Instead of beating the guy "to death" with a bagel, maybe he could just chuck it at the guys face after applying some equally stale cream cheese and lox. Or, for a more dramatic effect, um "lover boy" could actually EAT the stale lox, cream cheese and bagel and then "accidentally" spew the result into the neanderthal's face.
Or, just tell, um...lover boy...to turn on some offensive music, at an intrusive but not deafening level. Lady Gaga would probably suffice.
Could we please have a new nickname for...'cough'...Lover Boy? I feel weird calling him that. I did a quick search and think a more appropriate DU code name for him would be Webster.
Nuclear Unicorn
(19,497 posts)I was thinking he could probably plead diminished capacity. Frankly, he gets a certain "tic" around stereotypes. If you were to appear in front of him with an orange aerosol tan, hair gel and a pink shirt with a popped collar I honestly couldn't vouch for your safety. Would a grand jury indict? Would a jury even convict? I think not.
Sorry, but Lover Boy he shall remain. He's earned the title.

(8,492 posts)...I'd be afraid that they may find him not guilty by reason of temporary insanity, in which case he'd be spending time at one of our stellar mental health care facilities for an extended period. I hear the food is terrible.
I'll compromise. He will now be referred to as "NULB". The husband gets twitchy when I call strange men lover boy. He did give me a pass when I called George Clooney friggin' beautiful. But, that's George Clooney and I was referring not just to his appearance, but his mind and soul. The husband agreed with me.
