Still out of work. I've put in applications to over 25 different place and have had only 3 interviews. They all like me and have requested I keep applying. But, no one has hired me yet.
One of the things I've been doing is trying to learn Photoshop...it is very difficult...here are some of the pieces I've done in practice...

Photoshop is very difficult! I stick with the simple Elements, and just the easiest parts of that. That way, I don't feel so stupid!

(2,692 posts)I've actually applied at a variety of different places. From state of alaska jobs to parking attendent at the airport. I even applied at the Regal Theatre chain here in Anchorage. They never even called me back. I guess I'm not even qualified to pop popcorn....
Oh well...I'll just keep applying. The law of averages is on my side.

(31,227 posts)If you can afford $25 I suggest taking online courses at lynda.com for one month.
I'm an Art Director and have been using Photoshop since the ealry 1990s. I find their courses to be invaluable.
