Now, I know that's old school. But it's still a movie I watch every few years and think about from time to time. Not only was the animation extraordinary (for its time), but the ideas explored in that movie are fascinating. What struck me about it at the time is that it was able to juggle themes that IMO were deeper and more intriguing than you ordinarily saw explored in movies of that era.

I also appreciated the ambiguity of the ending, because it gives the viewer a lot to think about.

I wish I knew more about modern anime trends.

I love anime! I love cosplay, I write fanfiction, I adore the old and new manga, I like Kpop, I like jpop, I know some cpop, and above all... I adore it all. This is my kinda thing! I’m available for all conversations in this area

My specialties are yaoi and shounen, but I’m okay with some other genres.
