Nike doesn't have factories, like this activist group thinks. They contract their designs with various third party companies in the third world. These companies also make clothing for just about all other brands out there.
In the 1990s, apparel creators weren't particularly aware of any abuses in the factories they were contracting with. After it was brought up, they now try to police those factories. Not just having an agreement that has a labor code of conduct but also for good environmental practices as well. All of these are basically unheard of in the third world. So rather than being one of the worst apparel manufacturer, they're one of the best.
