Instead they put a "C" instead of a "G" in a musical group's hat.

They started out by bonking Peyton Manning in the head with a football on the first possession of the game. Then Kam Chancellor bonked Demaryius Thomas so hard he slid seven yards to a stop. After that, the game got fun and the only question was how hard they were gonna get stomped.

Apparently, the Broncos were overdoing the ganja that day.

Now I mostly feel sorry for the Browns, another example of a poorly managed Ohio NFL team.

Ohio State has better training facilities than those "professional" teams!

Edit: Another example of the differences is when traveling by plane. The Ohio State players recently flew to a bowl game in first-class, in seats that were staggered in such a way that they could be be converted into full-length beds. Meanwhile, the Bengals flew all the way to England for a game while in couch-class, jammed together upright during their much longer flight!

Was hoping to sting you with my rapier-like football wit

Beginning to worry there won't be any football, winning or losing, played in the state this fall. Our local college just had their season canceled by their league. I'm going to miss those Saturday afternoon outings, despite it being for the best.

I barely follow the NFL anymore because of their years of failure, which can mostly traced back to when Mike Brown took over the team after Paul Brown died. I thought about just cheering for a different team, but that seems impossible after following them since I was a little kid. So I mostly don't even follow the NFL now.

The last full-game that I watched was the Bengals' most recent playoff game against the Steelers, when they once again snatched defeat from victory in the waning minutes through undisciplined and boneheaded plays.

Paul Brown was "cheap" too, but he made far wiser decisions and he often sought intelligent players. Many of his players later became TV analysts.

A talent lacking in his son. But, to be fair, Paul, was also a product of his time. I think if he had to have dealt with free agency, diva wide receivers and the modern game he might not have fared so well. Still better than his son Scrooge McDuck, obviously.

... than his son.

I watch most Ohio State games, and it's incredible how they're better coached and disciplined than the Bungles. I've seen some gaffes by Cincinnati players that I've never seen by Ohio State! How pathetic is that?! Paid older players doing worse than college kids with the basics.

I saw a Bengals center somehow long-snap the football OUTSIDE one of his legs a few years ago! It didn't even look like it slipped from his hand. It just went straight to the outside of his left leg, bounced off it and got recovered by the opposing team! That was one of those times that I just flipped the channel of the TV to PBS and didn't watch it anymore.
