I held out until we started back in the office (2 days a week for me). The khakis and the hair helmet just weren’t working in the summer heat.

had the highest percentage of cases, mostly because we lost 17 at our WellCare seniors center, we had a good run of zero cases. But now it's going to hell.

A woman that works at the blood center I'm retired from offered to cut it when I went in to donate platelets. That would be perfect. We're exposed to each other anyway. Only thing is I know she doesn't take any precautions except at work, and she went back to working part-time at Supercuts.

I'm still laying low. It's easy for me. Retired and single, so I don't even have to let anyone in. I go grocery shopping at zero dark 30 every other week and just use drive-thru's for beverages occasionally.

Have not had a hair cut since Sept 2019.

I look like the crazy cat lady.

But I'm staying home, so the alternative is a ponytail. My long-haired cat got a haircut, though.

like a lion's. She had a lot of matting that she wouldn't let me touch, so she got the haircut. She hid for a couple of days at first, but now she seems pretty comfortable.

I only get mine cut 3 or 4 times a year during normal times and always leave enough hair on the floor to knit a cat.
