Tetanus deaths are continuing to go down after a vaccine for it has been distributed worldwide. Only 87,000 Worldwide deaths in 2018. It continues to kill babies and children under 5, infected by a unhygienic or natural birth with it being passed along birth canal.

(22,600 posts)6. On a Dr Pol show, Dr Emily took on a tetanus case...can't remember if it was a dog or pig.
Really hard case and took quite a while.

I expect we cant imagine how painful that is. But they made it, both of them!
