I like to watch a lot of reaction videos, and one thing I found is that black people are starting to appreciate and enjoy country music. I've seen country music bring some people to tears.

Another black artist I've come to admire is Tony Jackson. His cover of George Jones The Grand Tour knocked me off my feet. Here is his version if you care to listen. I think you'll enjoy it.

But I just want to remind you of one of my favorite black c/w singers...the great Charley Pride!

I used to sing his “Mountain of Love” to my granddaughters every day. Every time I think of him I smile.

We have a pretty extensive CD collection and Charley Pride has been a part of it for as long as I can remember. I think we've even got some of his music on vinyl.

I really don't like country music, hate the twang, but when she sings it - it totally rocks! LOVE her voice!!

....and I think she's got an excellent chance of winning the entire thing...... unless perhaps if Christina Rae steps it up another notch or two. Another pleasant surprise I think you will probably enjoy.
