swinging the pole makes the toy dangle at the end of it. It's trying to swing one end and catch the other end at the same time. I'm impressed.

Wonder if it will ever figure out, maybe by accident at first, that if the pole is stuck on something high enough, the other end will swing by itself.

I love to watch cats at play and when they are trying to achieve something. They are so much more intelligent, imaginative, and calculating than many people think. Glad these domesticated ones are on our side. Would hate to meet their wild cousins on their own turf.
