If that's for real, that's stupid.

Really?! A priest is baptizing a a child with a squirt gun?!

Yeah. Christianity is a REAL thing.

Wait until they pull out the light sabers.

ETA: Mom and Dad seem really happy. What a pair of idiots. Clearly, they do not understand anything about the rites of their faith. HYPOCRITES!

Maybe it was a joke and maybe it wasn't. Everyone involved appears to be perfectly happy.
Methodist baptize with application of a wet palm by the minister. Other groups do not baptize infants and in fact find it blasphemous.

Even adult baptism does not escape controversy: immersion vs sprinkling discussions can set off serious arguments.

Sometimes an unusual method is to make a point; a student pastor I knew in college served Pepsi and potato chips for Holy Communion, illustrating that it is motive and sincerity which are important.

I sent this to my Senior Pastor, I am looking forward to his comments.
