Hello, I am a long time lurker but first time member.
I am relatively lucky to be a retired employee of the State if Oklahoma
.
At least Governor Stitt believes in science. My SSI was approved, so I will
have that too. I have not yet deplested my savings.
I hope to contributie money in the future
.Stimulus anyone?

Lots of us here are retired and on SSI so you're in great company!

One of my very first trips out of the hills of TN and KY as a young adult was a business trip to OKC and I'll never forget my wonder at the flatness of the land and that continuous, hot wind!

I'm in Texas but I recently started a job in Oklahoma, so I'll be driving there regularly once things get going again - if they do.

I have a relative that just moved there last year. She is living in the blue dot of Oklahoma county in the Red Sea of the state.
She really likes it so far. Says the people are very friendly.

You will like the Lounge. It is a great place to get away from the crazy world.
