One of my very first trips out of the hills of TN and KY as a young adult was a business trip to OKC and I'll never forget my wonder at the flatness of the land and that continuous, hot wind!

(937 posts)I'm in Texas but I recently started a job in Oklahoma, so I'll be driving there regularly once things get going again - if they do.

(62,387 posts)I have a relative that just moved there last year. She is living in the blue dot of Oklahoma county in the Red Sea of the state.
She really likes it so far. Says the people are very friendly.
You will like the Lounge. It is a great place to get away from the crazy world.
