Have you ever seen Cabin Boy? Chris Elliot's first and only feature film? It's so stupid, but hilarious at the same time.

Besides the Miami Vice theme song. It's called "Like What You See". I'm not going to share the higher quality video since Christopher Atkins makes my glasses steam up.

(2,750 posts)that would howl like a wolf during the Andy Griffith theme song. Not sure what was going on with her.
Maybe the whistling?
Bradshaw3
(7,517 posts)I would imagine it was the whistling. BTW, the theme song of the show was The Fishin Hole.

(2,750 posts)I have quite a weird family. My dad was retired military and my mom a hippie from the 60's era. I suppose opposites attract sometimes?
She would cover the dogs ears thinking it was some sonic issue hurting the poor thing. She may have been right ?
My dad was normal him. Fuck it, the dog is fine....

(4,919 posts)That show was brilliant on every level... Concept, comedic timing, editing, incidental music... the "cement pond", etc.
I LOVED the "Commerce Bank" theme SO MUCH, that I actually switched from Chase bank to Commerce Bank (now TD Bank) years ago when I lived NYC. I set my ringtone to that theme. Nobody got it, of course.

(2,227 posts)The version that was with the remakes, probably in the 70s or 80s?
It sounds like a larger orchestra, with a very lush, sophisticated sound, lots of strings. Beautiful.

(12,423 posts)Eva was delightful. Despite her character being from a foreign country, she understood the "Hootersville" milieu better than her husband. And who cannot love Arnold Ziffle, the pig who was the Ziffles' "son". To this day, I avoid running all my kitchen appliances at the same time: "is the toaster a 1 or a 4?".
