I'm trying not to take out too many loans on my journey towards NP, but I imagine I won't be able to avoid it.

(21,137 posts)It is the best feeling ever. I keep my documents saying I paid off my student loans in a safe deposit box because I still get calls asking if I want to refinance my loans at lower rates. And I paid mine off 5 years ago.

(66,328 posts)I made my final payment for the student loan that paid for Medical Assistant school a year after I became a Physician Assistant. (I worked as an MA to get my pre-reqs for P.A. School...)
So now having paid off P.A. School, I want to be done with loans for a while.
