human children (also called "kids&quot ) and how full of energy and joy many of them are. It makes my day much better to observe this behavior in humans or goats.

That dog is pretty great, too.

I am still missing our dog, who crossed the bridge on Nov. 22.

I'm still missing our dog who crossed the bridge on Aug 25. Just when I think I'm doing better the tears start to pour out again.

Livestock Guardian Extraordinaire!

(If they're raised with goats/sheep). Baby goaties have springs for legs. I'm sure of it.

there was always a Pyrs on duty with the herd. They are amazingly patient dogs, capable of being the sleepy, trusted baby sitter one minute, and the ferocious protector of their domain a heartbeat.

They safeguarded my critters and traveled with me to livestock shows as my loyal guardian and i always felt safe. My dear Sarge saved me from a robber trying to break into my camper at a big exhibition. Not many people or predictors want to challenge a Great Pyrenees.

My Powder is the last Pyrs I will own. The livestock is gone and she's a spoiled couch potato, the tolerant foil for my mischievous cat to pounce on. They make me laugh almost as much as watching jumping kids at play.

My nephew raises goats and has a Great Pyrenees to watch them. Very patient dogs - until something or somebody threatens their charges.
