(It may have been said in that film, but it's not the movie I am referring to)
I think that every time even though I know from another thread it's not the case.
SPOILER ALERT: Pete was believed to be a frog during that scene and Big Dan smushes him.

(10,037 posts)IMO, far better than Tombstone.
red dog 1
(27,783 posts)I like both movies.
I liked Kurt Russell as Wyatt Earp more than Kevin Costner, but Costner wasn't bad.
The Costner movie cost more to produce than "Tombstone" which was a "TV movie"
Tombstone $25 million
Wyatt Earp $63 million
Val Kilmer was great as Doc Holiday in Tombstone, and Dennis Quaid was great as Doc Holiday in "Wyatt Earp"
Also, "Wyatt Earp" told the story of his whole life, while "Tombstone" was only about the period after Earp settled in Tombstone, AZ.

(10,037 posts)I just prefer the Epicness of "Earp" over the blockbustery 'Stone". Dennis Quaid and Isabella Rossellini killed it as Doc and Kate. The rest of the supporting cast was great as well. Kurt Russel is spitting image of Earp with the stache though.

(22,976 posts)John Ford at his best. And a fairly solid turn by a least-likely Victor Mature.
Tim Holt (Virgil Earp) has a good death-scene, with that scrabbling at the doorway as he goes down.

(27,783 posts)Henry Fonda at his best, imo.
