Chipmunk fight!

I have a bird feeder that lately has become very popular with chipmunks. They stuff their little cheek pouches and run off - they're really cute so I don't mind. But lately they're competing not only with birds, whom they sometimes chase away, but with each other. Today I was watching one stuffing his pouches when another chipmunk climbed up the pole - and the first chipmunk actually pounced on and tackled him, and the two of them fell to the ground in a clinch. I didn't think those little guys had it in them.

It was a chipmunk with a cherry to,ago from our garden just taking it back to his hole. He always stopped right before he went into the hole.
