Why the same robo calls over, and over, and over, and over? Here is why..

You tell them to take your name off, and they still call over and over. We read these calls are against the law,and they still call over and over and over and over. Why?
..The answer is plain and very simple. If it wasn't working and making money, they would stop. These companies must be making money or they would go out of business and stop making those calls. The people that own these companies, know they are con artists, but they are willing to take the risk for one reason only. They are making easy money, very easy money So easy that they keep on making them. Very few get caught, so? Again, it is very easy money. Lots of money
Also: it sure looks and sounds like nobody would buy into the cons. But if nobody bought into this, there would be nobody calling. Remember De Soto Cars?..Nobody bought, no more De Soto cars.
...The feds caught one guy, and fined him a lot, but he had a lot. Don't remember, if he got jail time. But others replaced him. Why? It is a way of making very easy money...and it is lots of easy money.
..I do think everyone at Democratic Underground hangs up on them. But, someone buys whatever it is. If no one bought, the crooks would go into a different crooked business. It really is that simple.

1. A very smart friend of mine almost got swindled

She was in a particularly vulnerable time and they almost got to her. She realized it just in time, before she sent money to them. It can happen, even to the best of us when we’re in tough times.

we're in tough times." We think it can't but it can. Lot's of different variations. I almost got caught once, and it was very, very, stupid. And I taught Consumer Ed for 20 years. Yes, it can happen to the best of us.

I don't answer the call. Then I plug it into a search online, and find out if it is legit. I've only had two calls that IDed. One was LazyBoy Showcase Shop and the other was Sun Loan Co. I had no business with either so I didn't call them.

my phone. I have about 30 blocked and it has almost eliminated crap calls.

Those two numbers you thought were legit were probably spoofed so they were probably crap also.

You make money selling your fantastic internet envelope stuffing, blockchain, cleaning or health product, or education scheme to someone more stupid than you are.

Unfortunately there is no bottom to this stupidity, and the only people who get rich are the grifters at the top of the pyramid.

One trick. When you answer the phone, put them on hold, go make a sandwich, come back in few minutes and hang up the phone. Probably not help but fun. Other trick, more impractical, is change your number to an area code where there is no one who could possibly call. If they're using the local call trick, you'll know it's a robocall by the caller id.

by installing NOMOROBO. No cost and, once you register the robo call rings your phone only once and then it gets transferred to NOMOROBO who plays a discouraging message. I love it.

When you have spare time to kill....

-----------------------------

How to answer spam phone calls...

Keep asking: What is your name?
... until you get an answer.

What is your company/org name?
... until you get an answer.

What is your company/org address?
... until you get an answer.

What is your company/org phone number?
... until you get an answer.

What number can I get in contact with you?
... until you get an answer.

.
Their time is also important to them.

You don't care if they lie to you. You're not going to write it down.
