Well we got some good news today

Suddenly first time home buyers. We’ve rented at a ridiculously low rate for years. In May were were informed by the management company that the owner wanted to sell the house, in 60 days.

A frantic home search ensued and we picked a house. BTW - my military service really paid off here in many ways. The last step was the appraisal....

We got it today. $12K more than the sell price. Instant equity.

same good experience....most fortunate for you....now just one thought, when you sign papers be sure ALL the expenses are categorized, appraisal, home inspection, etc....our son got the bill 3 months after signing for the home inspection..as he looked closer at the signed docs..he realized it wasn't included..the reason given..the home inspector didn't get the paper work in, in time..

Just an FYI - congratulations on your home purchase....

Waiving lending fees and paying for the appraisal

Due to my VA Loan eligibility no money down. The appraisal was probably done by a Vet too.
