I hurt a lot so I hope they have some ideas how to lessen it.
But I won't lie, I'm scared to hear what they're going to find. I'm hoping they have a way to get me back to full strength. But part of me keeps asking my what next if they can't?
With my legs, right hand, and eyes messed up, what can of work can I do? I'm an active person, what's my chances staying that way? What changes could I be looking at?
I think the wait is worse than finding out the answers.

(1,772 posts)Chronic illness is no fun. And pain is no fun. I wish you luck, if it is stressing you, you might want to try some meditation. And keep your positive attitude, do what you can and focus on that.
I wish you well.

(22,572 posts)an aorta. He said it's an immune system problem, like arthritis. That got me thinking. My whole body hurts and I'm stiff everywhere. Could the two be the same thing? Also, my eyes wobble, so I'm dizzy. Do we have the same thing?
Oops..artery, not aorta!

(971 posts)Sometimes it may take a while to get the culprit nailed down, especially if it's one of the odd ones. You might have to be patient, but persistent. But don't try to diagnose yourself, medical degrees from the Wikipedia University Google School of Medicine are not valid.
I got lucky, someone recognized my symptoms and pointed me in the right direction, but it took a few Doctors, not P.A.'s.
