(6,129 posts)Lot of great food in this part of Italy. I'm adventurous enough to try a lot of them. Last night it was some of the chef's homemade digestif -- flavored alcohol.

My favorites: Warm Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter. Yum!!! Going to try Butterfinger and Almond Joy this week as their menu changes every week.

(23,199 posts)I think Keto pancakes are the bomb. Totally satisfies my craving for something different for breakfast, so light and delicious and no grains or sugars at all - yippee.

(23,199 posts)This will feed 4 people, you can easily cut the recipe in half or double it. I haven't tried freezing these, they are always gone too fast.
1/2 c block cream cheese
2 eggs
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1/2 tsp orange flavoring - can use any flavoring including vanilla but orange is divine
sweetner if wanted- I usually use 1 tsp Swerve or 2 packs Truvia but this can be left off and still tastes great
Heat skillet, melt butter on medium high heat, pour in small amount (these are delicate so larger is difficult to manage) like for silver dollar pancakes, cook until the edges brown, about 1 min., turn and cook until that side browns, remove to plate, add butter and eat! I also love them with almond butter added. Enjoy!

(14,501 posts)For several years, I've mixed plain Greek Yogurt with fruit cocktail and a drizzle of honey to taste. About half the time, I add a cereal such as Honey Bunches of Oats (with almonds) or Kroger's store equivalent, and fold the mix real thoroughly. A little water or milk can be added depending on preference for blend moisture and consistency.
Sometimes when I'm feeling more chipper, I cut up fresh fruit such as apple, orange and grape in place of fruit cocktail.
The other day, I tried it with a nice dose of Rice Crispies instead, and it was great!........

(972 posts)We went to a small "joint" in the Southern part of town.
We tried Caramelos, Raspados, and Sonoran Hot Dogs.
Amazing. Living in Southern Arizona for 35 years, my 'go to' cuisine is Mexican. This was wonderful. We're going to be going back.

(43 posts)I saw this thread and I've just discovered wonderful butterscotch pudding cups on Amazon Fresh 4 (3.25oz each) for a dollar!
Obviously, I have to step up my game to hang with the big dogs but until then it's butterscotch city!

(2,682 posts)For the past month, I've been pretty much bed-bound with a temporary back issue. I took Tylenol and an opioid for a month, lost my appetite and have lost a bunch of weight (ok, not a bad thing really but it's the hard way). And sleeping was a bitch.
So, after listening to me have a pity party, my daughter suggested cannabis. Washington = legal. She got me dark chocolate with sea salt. First good sleep I had in weeks. And needed one less opiod.
Full disclosure: I'm a 73 year old great-grandmother.
