I came to the States to see my brother and for work. NOT for ten hours of dental surgery.

During a routine first visit in Dallas, all sorts of horrible things were discovered. A first hour's visit turned into five. Two the next day, and three more the day after that. With lingering pain and $13,000 poorer, I leave Dallas Tuesday.

I know it surely was necessary to stave off worse things that would have caused me to take addictive pain killers later on, but DAMN, it was miserable. I think next time, I should rent a car, drive until I find a ranch, and ask the nearest horse to kick me in the mouth. It would be quicker, cheaper, and probably wouldn't be any more painful.

That might be more accurate than we suspect.

I've been with hm for 30 years.

This was a major exception, but an exception like I've never had in my life. I might as well have been participating in outtakes from Marathon Man.
