I think I know the Final Jeopardy answer for tonight (we get the question in the NYT daily).

I find it helps to READ how the question is phrased. It has to do with Lord Byron, the British poet.

I originally had one answer, thought about it, then changed my guess. Hubby and I play this game all the time. I don't know how the contestants can do this with only 30 seconds...

5. It's clever because there are 2 possible Lords to choose from in that era but one definitely takes

the cake. But if I were a contestant and, with only 30 seconds, I would have lost. You had to have it on the first try in your mind, not the second.

the words they use in the phrasing are important and often give you the answer!
