Reminder: Xfinity-Comcast Watchathon goes through this weekend (HBO, Bill Maher, John Oliver, more)

For some, who like me have minimal cable tv access and no premium channels, that means I can stream lots of content, including HBO's Bill Maher on Friday night when Seth Abramson is the interview. You can binge HBO, Showtime, Cinemax and other content through the weekend. I spent our recent Colorado blizzard binge-watching "Line of Duty" on Acorn, the British subscription service that is also free this week. (that is a GREAT British serial, btw).

For some that is streaming access only via the Xfinity app or directly from their website with your cable service login. Others may get full access on their tv. Either way it is worth checking out, if you want a free binge weekend.

And yeah, though I'm promoting this freebie weekend, please note that I have an intense
"somewhat Like/HATE" relationship with Comcast, but what the heck.
