Shakespare predicted trump and McCain, only he named them Macbeth and Banquo

1. Macbeth started out as a military hero and popular general.

He didn't start out evil. His tragedy was his downfall.

Trump has always been greedy, grasping, and selfish.

Macbeth questioned his every move, the further down into evil he descended, knowing he was selling his soul for the crown, and that it wouldn't be worth it in the end. His self-awareness was his one quality that was never corrupted.

None of that can be said for Trump.

3. The analogy is the relationship and contrast between Macbeth and Banquo. Macbeth was haunted by

the ghost of Banquo because he knew that Banquo was the better man. Deep down Trump knows that Mccain was a better man than himself. Otherwise he wouldn't be obsessed with a dead man.

4. I see that now. I was just hung up on the fact that Macbeth started out as a good man.

Trump never was.
