Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsTo relieve itch from mosquito bites, apply toothpaste to the bite. A local radio station gave out
that hint today.
Wonder if sensitive toothpaste would work? Or would it have to be a behind-kicking toothpaste like
regular Colgate (which is not kind to maturing skin)?

(21,020 posts)I have three remedies for mosquito bite itch...
a dab of regular household ammonia
or
rub with a freshly cut onion
or
rub some Vicks vaporub on it
I've tried all of them and they all work.
Will try the toothpaste next time I get a bite.
