(27,800 posts)So I don't need to.
It also seemed strange that it has cheddar cheese, at least the one in the ad.

(1,821 posts)So I guess someone thought this would be a good idea?
The cheddar cheese was a big stop sign for me.

(43,049 posts)I can't imagine anything that looks so bad in the commercial being edible.
I have heard from others that it does indeed suck and any frozen pizza would be a better choice.

(8,922 posts)It should come with a Surgeon General's warning to high blood pressure patients. This thing could be used as a salt lick for your cattle.

(102,205 posts)scalloped cheese and alternative type crust over the past decades I've managed to largely SKIP.
But once upon a time, "good" NY style pizza was thin, thin, thin crust, so that you could focus on the tomato sauce, cheese, and toppings. Maybe that isn't really popular outside NYC anymore? At any rate, I just forego the pizza.

(989 posts)Have you ever tried Palermo's thin crust pizza?
They sell it frozen at Costco and other grocers.
At Costco it is a "supreme", and they have pepperoni at my local grocer.
To me, it is better than any restaurant pizza that I have had in many years.

(989 posts)I do intermittent fasting, only eating after 5PM, so I eat the entirety of it, which feels excessive. But in terms of calories, it really isn't.

(23,302 posts)I shy away from pizza because of the sodium...Im always insanely thirsty after eating it. Im trying to work the intermittent fasting into my routine too per my naturopaths suggestion....as the chief meal planner and cook for my family it isnt easy. My fasting tends to roll from 7pm until after noon the next day. It is effective, however.

(989 posts)I love eating at night, which is why I fast from 11 pm until 5 pm the next day.
My other motivation is that the body produces Human Growth Hormone at about 4 am. It is wiped away by the first meal.

(50,552 posts)Talking about New York slice pizza...I won't be in the city until November 27; I'm going to photograph the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Parade. I land at JFK that morning, do a little shopping, hit NY Pizza Suprema, and head to Philadelphia on Amtrak in the afternoon.

(6,261 posts)Little Caesars. I hadn't had any in years, and tried one again a few months ago: It was awful; It tasted like a salt lick. We call them Little Seizures now.
Maybe my taste buds have actually matured a bit since the only pizza we've had in the last few years has been brick oven baked.
