Some enterprising youngster will have a food cart. It will all be on live scat-cam. MF45's grave site will become one of the most visited tourist stops in the country.

Alas, my travelling days are over. I will never walk through Central Park or down Bourbon Street again and I am not going to be hiking Mt Fuji. Maybe, given enough time by car, I can see the desert just one more time.
I guess one of the biggest items on my list that is still possible - to meet a person I have been friends with online only, for the last 25 years. He's can still travel, if his wife will let him...
At one time in my life, I wanted to publish a cookbook. No one buys cookbooks anymore. Any recipe you want is at the tip of your fingers. I used to win blue ribbons at the state fair all the time for my bread, the goal now is to do that one more time.
We finally became homeowners 3 years ago. We just planted a few fruit trees last year, I want to be around long enough to eat a piece of fruit from a tree I planted.
One item on the list is still possible, although the logistics are proving a challenge, I want to go to a UFO convention. There is one on my BD, within 300 miles. IF we can save enough money to board the dogs, IF hubby can get 5 days off, IF I don't have a COPD flare and IF there are any tickets left a week before, I MIGHT get that one. Fingers crossed.

(3,275 posts)The American Museum of Natural History often has sleepovers just for adults. They originally had sleepovers just for families but a lot of adults said that they wanted to do it too but didn't have kids. There is food, drinks, tours and other activities. I think it would be a lot of fun to wander around the museum in my pajamas and sleep surrounded by exhibits. There are other museums that have sleepovers for adults as well.
I have already done a lot of cool things but I still have a lot of things on my bucket list. Here are a few. I would like to
1. Ride in a hot air balloon
2. Ride in a biplane
3. Visit country with a completely different writing system such as Japan, Greece, Bulgaria, India.
4. Learn to fence
5. Fly on a trapeze
6. Attend a murder mystery dinner
7. Learn to make Thai food
8. Run for office
9. Become vegan for a month
10. Get a sailing certification

(28,120 posts)2. Spend days in the Louvre Museum in Paris.
3. See mountain gorillas up close in their natural habitat but an impossible task for me now.
4. Eat great French food. My son is taking me to a 5-star French Restaurant in NYC for my b.d., so that'll be off my list.

(2,533 posts)Sadly the odious monster will probably outlive me.
Why-
She had my father re-write his will-all to her-then he died after being denied medical care after a accident in England during a fox hunt. He lay for 17 hours without help before he died.
She has spent almost every penny of my fathers large estate-buying a multi million $ home. I recently learned she has kept the property out of the trust despite the fact we paid for it. I'm disabled trying to keep a family on a meager fixed income. And I have no doubt she won't leave us a thing when she does pass-other than the depleted remains of my fathers trust.
It's only been 48 years and every damn day I curse her name.

Seriously, I can't think of one thing that I strongly desire to do, that I feel passionately about. But I'm not depressed!
I'm 46. I've lived a pretty damn fortunate and privileged life. My wife and I traveled quite a bit in our 30s. No kids. One dog.
I'm content.
If I get to see the Alps someday, I guess that would be it. Haven't been through Switzerland or Austria, but I'm not "dying" to get there (that would be counterproductive, no?)
And, as mentioned above, I do look forward to the day that Dirty Donny goes down in infamy.
