Even when they know the plan is bad, they still follow through with it.

(18,680 posts)I have seen that many times before. Cats do not wobble or stumble back and forth unless drugged or very very sick.

(7,875 posts)On the other hand, when a cat is neutered, sometimes they send him home before the anesthesia wears off, and that's just the way they wobble. Hopefully that's the case here...

(2,015 posts)when they had to sedate him to give him a lion cut when he was matted. Fortunately I have a very understanding boss who actually gave me sick time when I called in to tell her I would be late because I didn't dare leave my drugged cat home alone. I was afraid he'd try to jump on something and miss like that poor kitty did.

(54,256 posts)Friends had a de-clawed Siamese.
It's paws were (apparently?) very sensitive to cold, hard floors.
It's would jump over their small marble foyer floor from hallway carpet to living room carpet.
That cat ain't got no traction and/or it's on a slippery piece of newspaper.
Case closed.
