(26,117 posts)I'd drive it - but I bet it's hard to parallel park.

I doubt Batman would take a fine vintage automobile out on streets. I mean, not that I would know for certain one way or another. But if I were Batman, I sure would get something a little more street sturdy for toolin' about the seedier parts of town. You know, that I would ever try to be Batman, heh heh. Oh, let's forget I ever got in on this thread.

(17,090 posts)The body measured an impressive 237 in (600 cm) long and 76.5 in (194 cm) wide, enough to accommodate four people in the front row, including one person to the left of the driver.[4][3] The back seats could only hold two passengers, however, in large part because of space limitations posed by on-board beverage cabinets.

(29,414 posts)Or do you mean the "original Batmobile" from the 1960's show?
If the latter, then you may be thinking of the 1955 Lancia Aurelia Nardi Vignale Blue-Ray:
Years and years ago, I knew the collector (and phenomenal automotive restorer!) that owns that car. When I saw it, he had it in storage in his garage at home, covered in dust and not yet ready for a full restoration. I think I'd read that it's worth over a million and a half now

(25,771 posts)I was alluding to the original(s) from the 1930s comic book - "in his specially built high powered auto" - and variants thereof

(37,428 posts)My wife used to work with him. I recall sitting with him as he sketched a thirties Batman like unto the one above.
