We have a little feral cat that lives in the woods behind our house. She showed up with 4 kittens barely old enogh to walk. I took them in and fed them and now they are about 4 months old. When they were about 8 weeks old we took them to the Sunday walk-in clinic run by the SPCA to get shots. Found out they could also be spayed, so we did that too. Also got their feline leukemia shots.

They are all little characters, make me laugh every day. But I would like to give 2 away. 5 cats is too many (have an old cat, too). But so far no luck, there seems to be a glut of kittens in Dallas right now. We think the female cat has another litter that is about 4 or 5 weeks old, so they should be showing up on our porch before long. I will probably take them in because if we don't the coyotes and owls will get them, but will be reaching a kitty crisis.

My husband has promised we will trap the little female and take her to the clinic to be spayed after we get the kittens.
