I've done that several times, along with my sisters, who were judges. I have nothing to ask, but I will say I'm proud of you.* It's not an easy job. I wish you an easy and fun time.
* Can one be proud of someone she's never met?

(7,162 posts)2. Unfortunately, I think my day will be very slow.
There are a lot of non-English speakers in the precinct in which I am serving, and turnout is traditionally very low in that neighborhood.
But, since I intend to this again in November I view this as good practice.

It's going to be a slow day, municipal election. The election judge and I will probably get in a few games of Scrabble.
