I really hope I didn't just jinx myself, and all of mid-Michigan

But I just swapped out the snow blower for the lawn mower.

have had snow blade off for a couple weeks. Dethatched lawn two days ago. then used leaf sweeper. God there was a lot of dead grass.

Then last Sunday was in the 70's.

I'm charging up the battery for my rider mower and hope to do the first mow next week. Last year I was mowing by mid-April.

That's south of you, if I'm reading my map correctly.

Our last frost is May 15th, on average. Five years ago it started snowing on my birthday (Star Wars Day --May the Fourth be with you!) and didn't stop for three days.

Always have a Plan B.

Next week is forecast to be in the 70's!!! But, yea. Fortunately, the storage shed is a short amble and I still have fuel on hand.

Grand Rapids here. Put the snow blower in the barn last week but
haven't actually moved the lawn mower to the garage. Lots of raking and dead branches everywhere. It's been a loooooooong winter!
