Did you know you could have the Flu AND Pneumonia

At the same time?

Lucky me.

Guess what I saw on the news after I was diagnosed: Influenza B is on the way back. Now they tell me.

Wash those hands!

Yes, pneumonia is not uncommon with influenza. Usually due to secondary bacterial infection.

The Pneumonia is worse than the Flu. Thank goodness for Z-pack!

I had the flu once and it was so bad I vowed I would do anything and everything to avoid getting it again

PLEASE do what your doc says and make sure someone is checking on you!

many in that flu epidemic had cause of death as pneumonia after they came down with the flu.

as I suspected pneumonia. He wasted no time prescribing a Z-pack with orders to come back in 2 days if I'm not better and he will put me on something stronger.

Flu is, among other things, an attack on the respiratory system, and obvious so is pneumonia. I know i had both once. I've had pneumonia as a extension of bronchitis once too, but didn't have any symptoms of flu before the bronchitis.
