And you meant the mercer family.

Then I saw the family tree didn't have any farm animals in it.

So my bad.

This link should work: http://vistahigherlearning.com/media/pdf/promenades2e_samplelesson.pdf

The chart is on page 9. The example given "Hubert -> Marie st Fabien" seems to imply that Hubert is the father of Marie and Fabian so Yvette and Guy are the daughter and son in law.

As for the questions on page 9:
1. Marie is the spouse of Guy
2. Agnes & Hubert are the grandparents of Thomas & Megane
3. Thomas & Daniel are the sons of Yvette
4. Fabien is the brother in law of Guy
5. Claire is the cousin of Thomas & Daniel
6. Thomas is the nephew of Marie

For those who want it in French, there is a vocabulaire on page 21.

I updated the OP.

Yes, the "too many connections" accounts for why the chart is making the rounds on social media.

You deserve an "A" for your answer, though.

It's really stupid but I have looked at far too many family trees for fall for that! Until I found the original and saw the introductory statement about Hubert, Marie and Fabien, I wasn't sure which two were the children of Agnes and Hubert. After that it was simple.
