Ok. Boiled water. Washed hair. Got out the batteries and flashlights. Charging tablets.

5% of my area has lost power, so, just in case, I'm planning for the worst.

I know people who have been out all week, so, I'm lucky so far.

Gotta be ready. Anyone else?

the RainX rule. The better prepared you are, the less likely you will need your preparation. We always put fresh RainX on the windshield when going on a trip. It hardly ever rains when we do that.

Last year there was a big event/march in NYC. They handed out flyers for this one at the Women's March this year.

I sell pussyhats, so hopefully I can make a few bucks.

According to NJ Transit's website, there's some issues with power right now.

..... If you guys down below could push the storm out to sea so we don't get clobbered up here it would be greatly appreciated.

Saw a few snow flakes as it was getting dark out.

I'm not complaining. Sometimes staying inside all day with a blanket of snow outside is so peaceful. The snow is sticking to the trees and it's so beautiful.
