Is the FBI investigating Fox News for ties to Russia?

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by muriel_volestrangler (a host of the The DU Lounge forum).

What else would explain Fox's shrill, high anxiety, and unrelenting attack on the FBI? Is Murdoch in cahoots with Russian oligarchs? And therefore beating the "news" agency's drum in favor of Putin's favorite puppet?

FNC in general, and Hannity in particular, are targets in the Trump-Russia probe. The area of interest is coordination of propaganda tactics with Russian intelligence. Reportedly, Mr. Hannity's been (intercepted) chatting with a few Russian spies.

You're new here. Welcome!

The political related stuff isn't really Lounge fodder, FYI. It belongs in General Discussion. You'll likely see a mod/admin come along and lock this thread if you don't self-delete.

Don't let this deter you. It's a learn-as-you-go sort of affair. Just a matter of creating the right threads in the proper places.

I could always find another forum, say a Facebook group, more focused on the content – and reform – than on the protocols of which category something belongs in.

All topics overlap, so I'd like to assume that the editors at DU understand this and wouldn't be so petty as to shut a perfectly good, well-intentioned, thread down simply because we have different interpretations of "lounging." Fox is entertainment (and distraction from the truth), therefore I assumed a discussion about it should take place in a "lounge."
