I'm very glad to have many friends who are Jewish

But what satisfies me most, is when they meet each other for the first time and realize they are Jewish, and that I never told them; either of them. That I never said: this is my friend so-and-so, and he's Jewish too. It pleases me to see them discover that they are my friends, who just happen to be Jews.

...being from NY, it was natural. In college, I first noticed my Jewish friends were very much on par with my Christian friends. Then they were more... love them!
