4. My best friend & I were talking about her earlier today.

We were discussing what a shame it was that she died at such a young age for so many different reasons, not the least of which was she didn't get a chance to see her son become the great leader he is, but also that we never got a chance to know this remarkable woman. We figured she must have had a spine of steel, but I had no idea about all this stuff. Truly a strong, great person. Thanks for posting this. I admire her even more now.

6. Stanley Ann Dunham Soetoro was ANOTHER reason I voted for Barack Obama

Her background & the choices she made in the times she lived in showed me that Barack is of that mentality.
She represents the America we want to have.

When Obama does stuff like NDAA & goes along with Republican nonsense, I get disappointed in him because his background & more importantly his MOTHER'S background goes totally opposite of that.
I know it is within him to set things on the right track.
He Has The Power.

I will give him a 2nd opportunity to prove me right.
He is THE ONE.
His background & his mother's background tells me so.

9. The President certainly has his moms features. It's sad

that she did not live to see her son elected President. Then again it may have hurt her to see the outright hate and disrespect thrown at him the last few years too.
