Ok, that's it. I'm done with Bill Maher.

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by applegrove (a host of the Video & Multimedia forum).

I record the show - or at least I used to - for watching on Saturday night.

It's been getting harder and harder to watch Bill Maher. I've gotten used to fast forwarding through the weekly spiel about the "over-reaction" to Covid.

This week he started by trashing the Democratic Convention and moved on to trashing Biden - in the first couple of minutes. That's it, I deleted the recording and cancelled future recordings.

Watched the monologue-barely. I found it rather offensive.
Skipped the rest to watch New Rules.
Pathetic!
Turned it off.

He better up his game when he comes back.
And, I don’t mean sucking up to Ann Coulter.

Christ, even Kasich was good on trump. Then, he went all religious and screwed it up.

The monologue wasn't a bit much, it was beyond the pale.

Regardless of how he votes, etc., he uses his platform to bash Democrats and now Biden.

The future of the country is at stake. There is no room in my world for "comedy" that suppresses Democratic votes.

I was never an HBO subscriber anyway, but there's other ways to see their programs (online) and I stopped watching his show in those ways too.

It didn't seem very educational after awhile.

John Oliver offers more educational and eye-opening content, for example.
