Nina Simone, jazz singer, 60s civil rights biography

Nina Simone, jazz singer great bio, 60s soul expression of Black Lives Matter

This is a deeply touching story of her life. She became involved in the civil rights movement but left racist America and moved to France when she felt the civil rights movement had died.

I have been listening to her on YouTube lately. Such powerful human emotion she brings out.

She said jazz is really folk, classical and blues, but white people called it jazz. She died in 2003 at the age of 70
